VW Cross Up: Toilets

DDB Worldwide

What is the most stressing moment you can experience in a normal day?

Every time you are in a rush to the bathroom for any reason and you ara running late.

But, what is the most relaxing moment of the day?

Every time you get to the bathroom and you let yourself go.

And what is we always do?

Hold ourselves to the last minute.

These situations are always hilarious for the one who is no experiencing it.

In the film “Toilets” everything is happening in a slow motion. The first person to appear on the scene is a man who enters running to a public bathroom. He is running so fast that he doesn’t  even notice that there is a working cleaner standing just behind him. You can feel that moment when you don’t know if you are going to make it or not. His face expression tells us that he is about to explode until he arrives and lets himself go. He even takes his time to  play around. He still doesn’t notice that there is somebody standing in the same room until he turns around and leaves bathroom.

The next person who runs also to the bathroom is a woman who enters a gas station public bathroom. When she gets to the door an old man comes out and she breathes in and expires… we all know what that means. She gets in ant lets herself go with a big smile.

A big contrast of scenes appear with the next image of a father and a son in a lake happily relaxed and enjoying an intimate moment together in the countryside.

The last person is the most expressive of all of them. A woman runs into a diner with a stressed and preoccupied face. She sees that there is a queue waiting for the bathroom and she smashes the mans door and gets in quickly not even caring about the men that were in the bathroom. She sits down and lets herself go with a very relaxed expression.

The film ends with the the climax. The product is a new car that can do 1000km with only one tank. Therefore the advertising plays a metaphor  between how much the tank can hold and how much human can hold their pee.

CocaCola: Benditos Bares

Callback Studios Spain

There are some places in Spain that are well known for all the time people spend in them, those are the common bars.

Every person in Spain has its favorite bar in every city. Everyone has a bar that they call “my bar” even though it is not theirs. Everyone has a funny anecdote in one random bar or a love story. They have normally the best food in every town and thats why we can say that no matter what hour it is, there is a bar open and theres is at least somebody in it.

This is why Coca Cola wanted to relate their spirit of happiness with the Spanish bars.

In the film we have a very emotional voice- over that talks you into the different bar scenes. You can see all the typical bars and the typical situations you can experience in them. It praise all their lifetime stories and how people always meet in them no matter what part of Spain they are. Because bars in Spain gather all the happiness from Spanish people who are searching for love and a fun time with friends.

The film ends up with a climax sentence where Coca Cola´s spirit is reflected “We need to help our bars, the place where we are always happy”
