I’m supposed to write something funny, I guess

Low key truths to make you laugh

Or use a string of curse words like fuck, shit, dick or ass

But it’s all math If you learn how to look

And very little funny shit is written in the best books

Rumi made light of rape and Dali kept a house full of minors

Not so funny now, where are the smirks and giggles,

my dear fellow writers?

What’s considered acceptable by us may be safely called subjective

What’s taken as truth though gets blurred and heard as selective.

So cut the bullshit

Or change your name to hypocrite

Whatever you see fit

Ima keep doing what I’m doing
