Public Speaking/edited

I would say that his biggest fear has always been public speaking. Although he’s never really been what you can describe as a “shy” person, its just something about standing up in front of everyone that has always intimidated him.  He remembers being extremely nervous before going to college. He couldn’t imagine his performance in front of fifty people if he was already a disaster in front of 15-20. His first college presentations were a mess. Through the years he’s learned several ways to cope with this fear, not because he want to, but because he has had to. During college he had numerous presentation, so it was kind of an obligation for him to overcome that fear, which he still haven’t, completely.

Although he doesn’t  like it, the process of emerging himself out of his comfort zone has really open his eyes. It has helped him out a lot in other aspects of his life and when I say help me him out I mean he’s not afraid to take risks anymore even though sometimes he fears them but whats the worst that can happen? We can’t be afraid of screwing up or put too much emphasis on what you think people are thinking about you. Through this overcoming process, he has learned that the best way to not look nervous and give out a very fluent presentation is to really know what your talking about. Embrace your topic. Learn it from top to bottom without having to look at any of the information, being able to have eye contact with your audience. You should feel like your having one to one conversation, not a bunch of people own front of you. Practicing his  presentation with index cards also helped him out a lot. Public speaking is something that the vast majority of out society doesn’t like, and everyone has the same reasons of why they don’t like it. Is those who think outside the box that learn how to dominate and control their minds.
