We were so close I could smell his breath. He was staring into my eyes and I got lost in his long lashes, the faint wrinkles on his brows, his juicy lips… He suddenly bent his chin forward, mouth toward my face, and before I could breathe… kissed my nose.
2. Sleepless
She shuffled in bed for two long hours unable to sleep. Her stomach hurt in anxiety. Her forehead dripped sweat. Somewhere in the dark, her phone suddenly buzzed: “Can’t stop thinking about you” it read. The weight dropped from her shoulders, and she glowed with excitement: he liked her too.
