Blog #1 clapclap Miami

If you’ve been living in Miami all your life, this is for you. If you’ve been living in Miami for just a month, this is for you too. So what is it about Miami that attracts so many people? Truth is there are too many things to do. No matter your lifestyle, taste, or mood, the city will always find the way to your heart. If you’ve only been here for a few months,  you might want to start covering the basic areas you should know. Have a drink or grab a bite and take a walk across beautiful Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. Places such as Mango’s Tropical Cafe, and The Clevelander are well known for having excellent food and a huge variety of drinks, accompanied by a great party atmosphere with live music.  If you’re looking for something more relax or just a different vibe, slide through Wynwood and enjoy the amazing art exhibitions and of course our Wynwood Walls. Check out the restaurants, and stores Wynwood has to offer, you might find a musician or two playing their instrument in the street along the way, its all part of the atmosphere, a very hipster one. The Wynwood area is also very close to Downtown, where you can find the famous Bayside Walk. Here you can also find a great variety of restaurants, bars and stores, or just enjoy the amazing bay views the place has to offer. Bayside is also located right by the American Airlines Arena where many concerts and events take place, not to mention is home of our basketball team The Miami Heat.

If you’ve been in Miami all your life and you’re done with everything I just mentioned, then you might want to start to dig deeper into the city’s culture. One event I like to recommend to people that already been through everything in Miami is the Gallery Night at Coral Gables, the first Friday of every month. Its a free event, for those looking for more than just a “happy hour” on a Friday. The event features art galleries and museums with masterpieces from artists all over the world, as well as local Miami artists. Enjoy the nice and relaxing atmosphere of Coral Gables and everything this beautiful town has to offer.

Now don’t worry, everything is not just eating and drinking down here. If you’re looking to have fun and learn more about the city in a healthy way, and take a break from the nightlife, theres options for you. Every month, you have the opportunity to learn more about the history of our beautiful and oldest town Coconut Grove in our monthly bike ride with famous historian and bike enthusiast Frank Schena. Just bring your bike, and all your energies. The event also takes place near a few bike shops where you can rent one if you’re not the owner of one but still want to take the tour.

This is just a sneak peak, Come enjoy our city if you haven’t been here yet, and if you’ve been here all your life, start appreciating what you have!
