18 Jul Favorite Writer……at the moment.

Rumi is currently my favorite writer right now. He is a Sufi mystic poet from Balkh which is now Afghanistan, born in the 13th century. One of my friends has introduced me to his work/poetry since I started my 4th quarter at school. I like how he influenced many ethnic religions and literature with spirituality and love.

Below is one of my favorite pieces of writing by Rumi so far:

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” 

“Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.”
