Haiku

1  As you are reading this

  Just simply know, you are loved

  Every second of every day

2  The fact that you exist

  Lets me know my life has meaning

  I am forever yours

Poem

When your face enters my mind

a memory always comes over me

like waves crashing up onto shore

The feeling of you floods back into my body

like a river rushing through a stream.

I remember how I felt.

You were like coming home after a long trip.

You gave kisses that could last a lifetime.

Two weeks.

Two weeks, to say “I love you”, that’s how long it took you.

You asked me, if I loved you.

I couldn’t help but hesitate.

Hesitate not because I didn’t feel the same way

but because I couldn’t remember

how life was like before you.
