Horror Script Ethan Vink

Unnamed As Of Yet by Ethan Vink

The scene: Guy and girl driving in the state park late at night. The moon is full and the wind is blowing hard and loud. There are no other people or cars around.

Guy: Stop shaking and freaking out, you knew we had to do this. It was our turn.

Girl: I know but it really sucks. Do you see how Candice and Lou are now? Nothing is good or right with them anymore. I don’t want us to be like that after we are done.

Guy: We will be OK, I am sure of it. I think this is the spot, do you have everything?

The girl starts taking stuff out of her backpack. She opens a large napkin filled with pieces of food, coins and trinkets. With a big needle and butchers twine she starts connecting all of the items together.

Guy: Where is the steak, there was supposed to be a piece of steak?! Where is it?

He leans over her and starts emptying the backpack on the seat.

Girl: I grabbed everything it must be there somewhere, what are we going to do now?

Guy: I don’t know I need to think. Maybe it won’t notice, we’ll just wrap everything back up and maybe it won’t notice. We’ll just leave it and go. We’re fucked aren’t we? I just gotta think for a minute.

Girl: What do we do now, where do we put it?

The moon goes behind a cloud and it gets really dark

Guy: You have to go, it’s got to be you it hates men.

Girl: What the hell you never told me that, you said it was something we had to do, you said WE!

Guy: Please just go in there and leave it. I’ll be ready to protect you. Leave it and we will drive like hell until we get home and we will forget this ever happened.

Girl picks up the package and starts walking along the trail into the heavily wooded area beyond. In the middle of the trail she sees what looks like a mound of rocks. The wind stops and it gets silent.

Girl: I am going to leave this right here. I am sorry we are missing something, we didn’t mean to forget it. Everything else is here. Can you hear me? Are you there?

The wind starts howling, it sounds like screaming mixed with cries. She drops the package on the rocks and runs back to the car. All of the doors are locked. She screams.

Girl: What the hell are you doing, Let me in. We have to go now, open the door.

The guy, with tears in his eyes holds his hand up to the window where hers is.

Guy: I am so sorry but you forgot the meat. It has to eat meat or it will come for all of us. I have to do this, I love you.

The moon disappears again and there is total blackness. Her screams of terror pierce the blackness. The moon reappears and the car is covered in thick red blood.

The guy turns the car on and drives back the way he came.
