Imagery

*I remember the loud sound of the subway couldn’t let me hear the video on my phone.

*The room smelled horrible and was dark, but there was a bit of light coming from a small hole in the wall.

*The bar was so full you couldn’t walk without bumping into each other and spilling a bit of your drink.

 

Inversion

*Drink it, thats what you should do.

*How great they have treated us today.

*What a silly picture this is.

 

Metaphor

*She’s got expensive taste and a cheap soul.

*He’s putting his whole team on his back

*She told her friend brighter days will come.

 

Oxymoron

*We had a love and hate relationship

*At the end we just agreed to disagree.

*The professor is passive aggressive when it comes to assignments.

 

Puns

*I wanted the camouflage pants, but couldn’t find one.

*He’s on a seafood diet, Sees food and eats it.

*I was good at it, just developed the skills.
