Poems for kids

A lost art

Enjoy it now kid,

no one cares that you drew cats

when you get older

Teach em young

You don’t need a phone

when you’re still in second grade,

go play outside kids

You shouldn’t let tigers have pliers

Everyone knows about tigers,

they’re big and they’re strong, but not flyers.

About that they’re really quite bitter,

on the ground they must search just for dinner.

If they could climb higher,

oh they fear they’d inspire,

but alas tigers cannot be flyers.

But tigers have been known to get crafty

if they can find something to cut plastic.

They’d craft many things,

like a pair of new wings,

so you shouldn’t let tigers have pliers.
