16 Jan The Coyote Brothers
The inspiration for this piece came from the introduction of an old western movie; Specifically, the country accent storytelling. Oh and a slice of ham. You’ll understand later.
The Coyote Brothers
It was the brothers first family photograph, which explains why Tommy looks like he saw a ghost after the camera flash (He’s the first one on the left). Their father just passed and left his legacy on to them before the photo was taken. Papa is what you call a classic cowboy that left his old ways to start a business and fend for his four boys. He taught the boys how to raise and breed cattle and boars. Eventually, papa built a butcher shop. The Coyote brothers raised and sold cattle and each one of the brothers had a specialty in the business.
Pistol Pete loved slaughtering them poor things (He’s the third one from the left). Tommy’s the one out on the farm feeding the animals and picking up their leftovers. That’s what you get for being the youngest. Serious Smith took care of all the deliveries and customer service. The boys didn’t get much of a complaint because the whole town was scared of him (he’s the second one from the left). Then there’s Business Bobby; he’s the smartest one out of the bunch. He likes numbers and all that good stuff, so papa left him in charge of the money and paperwork.
Mama was so proud of her boys. She hung up this picture in their new shop in town, and she sure did show off her boys. But times change, and now the boy, boys, boys run the business and it is notably more successful. They changed the name to Boars Head and now the sell millions! Papa sure would be proud!
